Saturn V Brick Placed

The 501st Alabama Garrison, through a donation to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center Foundation, has immortalized the name of the Legion in the form of a permanent inscribed brick in the Apollo Courtyard outside the Davidson Center for Space Exploration. The donation will help preserve one of three remaining Saturn V rockets, the same spacecraft used for the moon landings. Be sure to look for the commemorative 501st brick in Huntsville, Alabama, if you're attending the Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination exhibit in June 2010!
