Del Rey's new horror novel Star Wars: Death Troopers was released on October 13th, and the 501st showed support for author Joe Schreiber on the Death Troopers book tour stop in Huntington Beach, CA. In between personalizing books and obsessing over Legion costumes, the 501st Southern California Garrison and Golden Gate Garrison presented Joe with an honorary membership!
